The commercial, which is four times as long as a standard 30-second TV spot, Coke advertises low-calorie versions of its drinks and stresses that people are getting fat from their sodas. The World’s biggest brand Coca-Cola is acknowledging the country has an obesity problem, but these commercials gloss over the fact that calories from soda are worse than other calories. Even when they’re apologizing for that, as they appear to be doing here — they’re still selling them. I am sure Coca-Cola spends huge in these campaigns because it gets them sales. Ogilvy India has created a carnival themed film to announce and promote Season 5 of the Indian Premier League scheduled from 4 April to 27 May 2012. The film features Makrand Deshpande acting as the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ taking the protagonists and the viewer on a journey to experience the carnival’s various delights. The film opens with two school boys wondering about the noise coming from the other side of a wall. One of them looks through a peep hole on the wall and sees a carnival in progress.
