I2IT, also called IsquareIT has done it yet again. They have proved the metal by organizing successful events after another over a long time consistently. My last visit to I2IT was to their college annual fest which was one of the most decent & sophisticated fest of management institutes genre. This time they have named a couple of days filled with knowledge, fun and networking as “knowledge Kamp”, for people of Pune.

Knowledge Kamp is the variant of BarCamp, which is a free event, and it is all about learning, knowledge and experience sharing. Knowledge Kamp is going to be a semi-organized un-conference where participants would discuss and share knowledge / ideas / suggestions about Emerging Technology, Software, Networking, Management, Innovation, Web, Opensource, Entrepreneurship, Social Cause etc. (just anything which imparts knowledge) by giving sessions, personal interaction and there will be pre-scheduled sessions by experts across industry.

Knowledge Kamp Pune – Objectives

  • To offer a platform to individuals for Sharing Knowledge / Ideas
  • Bridging the gap between student and industry (Interaction among students, industry professionals & professors)
  • Open Networking
  • Open Learning Experience
  • Building Community

What’s this all about?

BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.  When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.

Attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event. All presentations are scheduled at the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall. The people present at the event will select the demos or presentations they want to see. Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t be present.
